Christina Chara Ioannou
Christina is a Zurich and London based multilingual communication and PR professional, specialising in cultural industries and affairs, with related education and professional experience. Her work experience covers Global PR & Media Relations, marketing, communication, development and branding strategy.
Her international experience in the field and her strong media and professional networks led to the creation of CCI Communications, a communications consultancy focusing on global tailor-made communication campaigns with a project-specific approach. We focus on meeting targets, creating and developing credible networks, as well as defining communications issues, addressing and resolving them.
Christina has been managing and leading PR & media campaigns for more than 6 years, through various international agencies, working with some of the most prestigious fairs and galleries including Lisson Gallery, FIAC Art fair, SP-Arte, ArtBo, ARCOmadrid, Timothy Taylor, Paris Photo and Pinta Fair. She has worked on major international comms campaigns for institutions such as Guggenheim UBS Map, Brooklyn Museum, Faurschou Foundation, Palazzo Strozzi, Sculpture in the City (City of London's annual art programme), TBA21, Art Institute of Chicago and national representations at the Venice Biennale. She has a bachelor in Communication & Mass Media (State University of New York, Empire State) and has completed a Master (MA) in Arts Administration & Cultural policy at Goldsmiths University in London with a research focus on Cultural Diplomacy and relations. Christina speaks English, Greek, French, Italian and basic Portuguese.
